Carborundum Collagraphs
Carborundum Collagraph – a print made by use of carborundum grits glued onto a plate surface. The word collagraph is from collage, the gluing of different materials onto one surface to create a singular image. Not interchangeable with any other name. All the carborundum collagraphs made at Yama Prints were made using ‘carborundum paste’, described in my book, Carborundum Collagraph Printmaking. For more information on the book, see Links page.
