Print of the Month for July 2023 is from my collection.

Yajima-san was a dear friend and gifted this detailed, multi-shaped-plate etching to me while we were both living in California and printing at Kala Institute. July is his birthday month. He died in a Tokyo hospital of a brain tumor in late May circa1987. He had many lives, having bounced back from previous illnesses. Many lives also in creative careers, as a record producer and visual artist among others.
