Richard Mock (1944-2006)
One of a group of linocuts by Richard that I printed. He used linocut to develop his NY Times editorial cartoons, later expanding to other newspapers. Richard was a large, kind person who loved cutting into linoleum and all too well understood human frailties.
Though the title is Northern Ireland, the image is, alas, global.
Printed on Arches Paper, 30" x 22.5". My print is PP2, dated 1996, signed by the artist.
